MOBILE, AL – Several defendants have recently been sentenced in federal court for illegally reentering the United States after having previously been deported. The prosecutions were part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to combat illegal immigration and enforce federal immigration laws.
