On August 18, 2026, a judge of the Superior Court for the District of Columbia signed arrest warrants for current and former MPD members Peter Sheldon, Frantz Fulcher, Thomas Krmenec, Bernadette Richardson, Dorrie Smith Cleere, and Johnnie Dyer. The warrants issued will lead to arrests on charges for fraudulently claiming overtime and for hours not worked during the calendar year 2024, announced U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro.
