On July 7, 2026, Nikki Vancuren, age 51, of Amsterdam, New York, pled guilty to attempted bank fraud. This action is a part of the Trump Administration’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. First Assistant U.S. Attorney John A. Sarcone III and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Buffalo Office Acting Special Agent in Charge Anthony Patrone, made the announcement.Â
