WASHINGTON – Today, the Department of the Navy announces the selection of Radiant Industries, Inc. (Radiant) to design, build, and deliver a prototype Microreactor Power Plant (MPP). The selection of Radiant’s Kaleidos microreactor design, pursued in conjunction with the Department of the Army’s Janus Program, marks a milestone in securing reliable, grid-independent, and dispatchable power for critical military infrastructure at Naval Weapons Station (NWS) Crane, Indiana.
