United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, announced that Magdaleno Mendoza was sentenced to 71 months in prison for his role in the large-scale cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme known as IcomTech and for reentering the United States illegally after having been deported.
